• Residents, law enforcement officials, and emergency personnel raised concerns last week at an open house for the Montana Department of Transportation’s relocation of the state rest area in Bozeman to land off U.S. 287 in Three Forks.
• Due to historically dry fuel levels, ongoing drought conditions, and a lack of firefighting resources regionally, the Gallatin County Commission has signed an emergency ordinance banning burning and other activities that increase the risk of wildfire in Gallatin County.
• The Iron Horse Café and Pie Shop is hosting a special event to help raise money for the medical fund for head cook/assistant manager Destiny Paddock.
