The Harp Experiments

We have been experimenting with music/sound generating software as far back as the early "DOS" operating system computers... up to current custom modern software and experimental music artificial intelligence (AI) music software developed and/or adapted here at Amaranth Publishing.

One of our projects has been to have our programs create improvised music for various types of harp/plucked string sounds. The first step was having our software/AI programs "listen" to harp and plucked string recordings from across the world and analyze the sound patterns.
This project then involved various programming and algorithms to allow the software to improvise spontaneous music on it's own without any human performance.

The results have often been quite amazing...
