Is Spiritual Practice really necessary? 

Usually we are driven to practice some kind of spiritual practice because we are hoping to achieve a goal of perfection. We are hoping to arrive at enlightenment or to be free from suffering. But if you recognise that the only real goal is to know that you are already perfect just the way you are, then what is the place of spiritual practice? Does it have a place in the endless evolution of this human?
