• Although the trend is moving towards "direct" distribution, middlemen or wholesale distributors (indirect distribution) still provide considerable "value added" services to manufacturers and retailers. Research a specific distributor and reference two specific value added services they provide and why they can provide a better solution here than the manufacturer if a change is made to direct distribution.
