In Wk 2, we examine pollution in the water, soil, and air by describing how contaminants exchange within an ecosystem, and how biotic and abiotic modifiers affect the uptake of contaminants from the environment. Additionally, we explore both point and nonpoint source pollution, as well as gaseous and particle air pollution. Consider the readings and activities you have completed this week.

Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words: 

How do contaminants transfer within an ecosystem or between ecosystems? How do biotic and abiotic factors affect contaminant transport? Provide some examples like point source and non-point source pollution or other examples.
