E G Holmes writes songs across a wide range of genres bringing a little bit of everything to each new project. Styles include fast paced Pop tunes to heartfelt Alternative as well as Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical and more. Born 1961 in Flushing, NY Holmes was attracted to the piano at a young age and started composing music by age 10. Age 11 Holmes sang with the Metropolitan Opera Guild in an English language production of La Boheme, snagging the coveted kid solo of "I want a trumpet and a drum". Age 20 Holmes had a chance opportunity to connect with Steely Dan Alum Donald Fagen who graciously reviewed a number of Holmes' recordings and and provided well regarded songwriting advice. Re-emerging on the music scene in 2009, E G Holmes began collaboration with artists from around the world. Soon after Holmes was working on a song called The Rumors and connected with David Foster discovery - singer David Vanden Enden. Holmes first full album was released in 2013 titled Wonderful You featuring Vanden Enden's amazing vocals. Holmes has released many songs on various albums and labels. 

Today, E.G. calls Bongo Boy Records home. His new album: TIME TO REST is a culmination of some of the artists' favorite originals.
