ECH 498 Wk 4 - Employment Portfolio

Create an Employment Portfolio that you will use to secure a teaching position. You may develop the Employment Portfolio in an electronic format, such as a Website, or in a hard copy format, such as a binder and report covers.

The Employment Portfolio must include the following items:

• Cover letter
• Resume
• Copies of transcripts--unofficial copies are acceptable
• Letters of recommendation--not character references
• Educational philosophy
• Early childhood setting management philosophy
• Minimum of two lesson plans
• Student teaching artifacts--such as samples of student work, pictures, and newsletters
• Awards and certificates
• Additional items that serve to enhance the Employment Portfolio

Submit your assignment. 

Note: If your Employment Portfolio is in a hard copy format, prepare and submit a brief multimedia presentation that provides an overview with pictures or examples used in your portfolio.
