Nymphaea is retro-static art. In the 1990s, it seemed that every shopping mall had a kiosk selling books and calendars of "MagicEye" 3D illusions. These 3D illusions, or stereograms, feature 2D repeating patterns that reveal a 3D image when viewed properly.Nymphaea takes this idea to a new level, incorporating a new type of pattern that can be cut into layers of wood.
