Joseph’s Song ~ Choral Anthem T. B. & Cello

This tender and melodic lullaby, written for 2 part men and cello,  expresses Joseph’s love and wonder on the night of Jesus’ birth.

This song was written right after our first daughter was born.  I was up in the middle of the night trying to calm a very distressed infant.  We had a choir practice the next evening to work on music for Christmas Eve and we hadn’t chosen a lullaby yet.  I got to thinking, “I wonder if old Joe did any “night duty” back there in the manger?  This gave birth to “Joseph’s Song.”
