Beginning Karate Lesson

Karate-do is the Way of the Empty Hand.

A martial art best learned in the presence of a qualified instructor.  Where that is not possible, there may be some benefit to carefully training along to video tuition.

This video is produced for people just starting out on their Karate journey.  It is filmed at the Karate Academy, our dojo in Devon, UK, and if you are able to join us in person then we'll happily go into greater depth and further development for any determined learners.

Your instructor is John Burke, 6th Degree Black Belt and full-time Karate instructor.  Author of 5 books and more than 50 DVDs about the art, he teaches seminars across the UK and internationally.  

You can train along to this video as long as there is sufficient safe space to do so.
