Instructions   

1. Complete the Stages of Critical Thinking Worksheet, attached to the right.
2. Submit your assignment file to WritePoint Powered by Grammarly, in the Center for Writing Excellence, and make appropriate revisions.
3. Review and compare your completed work against the Stages of Critical Thinking Grading Guide, attached to the right.
4. Submit your completed assignment on the Assignment Files tab by Day 7 (Monday).

PURPOSE

You will be introduced to the four (4) beginning stages of critical thinking and will complete the Stages of Critical Thinking Worksheet by identifying and detailing them, as introduced in Chapter 2 of Critical Thinking.  Additionally, you will assess your own level of critical thinking and explain why you placed yourself at that level.

Complete the activities in the Week 1 Gamescape (use the link to the right to enter the simulation). I encourage you to start this 1st Gamescape assignment early in the week to allow time for troubleshooting, if needed (see the Troubleshooting Instructions to the right). 2.  Answer the two (2) reflection questions within the Gamescape simulation, adhering to the target word count requirement displayed for each response. HINT: Be sure to fully revise your initial definition in your second response to demonstrate what you learned in the simulation. 3.  Download your Gamescape Journal when prompted at the end of the game or by clicking the "Download Journal" link in the top right-hand corner of the GameScape screen and saving this document (.pdf file) on your computer. 4.  Review and compare your completed work against the Week 1 Gamescape Grading Guide, attached to the right. 5.  Submit your GameScape Journal (.pdf file) on the Assignment Files tab by Day 7 (Monday).
