Composer: William Hayes (1708 - 1777)
Forces: Any instruments

Largo - Allegro - Adagio - Tempo di Minuetto

Pub. Oxford, 1742. Hayes recommended an instrumentation of oboe, violin and violoncello, but also suggested upwards transposition by a tone (provided here as an alternative) to allow performance by two (transverse) flutes (in D), or by one flute and a violin. The suite also falls within the range of tenor recorders. If wind instruments are selected it would be not inappropriate to play the bass part on bassoon.

Transposed score, part(s) and cover page: 2.00 euro for unlimited copies
