In 2Thessalonians 1:11, the Apostle Paul, the Apostle of Grace, speaks of our engaging in the "Works of Faith". One of the most controversial issues facing the church concerns the place and purpose of “works” within the church. This is primarily due to the influence of the church's SALVATION PARADIGM perspective of scripture, which interpretes works as being for justification or righteousness sake.
This is unfortunate because works performed after someone has already been justified with God through Grace and Faith in the finished work of Christ, works become essential in our ability to manifest our sonship and to advance God's Kingdom. Works from a Kingdom Paradigm perspective are not to acquire anything from God, but to manifest what we already possess, as well as, the will of God in the earth.
