At a council meeting last week, Mayor MaryJanacaro Hensleigh reported last week the Jefferson County Sheriff ’s Department has expressed interest in renting the building at 2 N. Whitehall St.
Ponies, parades, pies, puppets, and prizes. They are all on tap at the Jefferson County Fair and Rodeo, ‘A Fair of the Heart,’ this weekend. The fair and rodeo kick off Thursday, August 22 through Sunday, August 26.
A Carroll College-bound Whitehall resident had the opportunity of a lifetime earlier this summer when he traveled to New Zealand with a 4-H Cultural Exchange program.
