The Lady of the Shroud was Bram Stoker's eleventh novel. The novel is an adventure story about a young man who inherits enormous amount of money which he uses to help the people of a small country in the Balkans in their struggle against their more powerful neighbors. It was first published in the UK in 1909 by William Heinemann, London.
