Elephants Can Remember signals the return of two of Agatha Christie's greatest creations, Mrs. Ariadne Oliver and Hercule Poirot, as this matchless pair follow a twisting trail of guilt and terror to a shocking crime committed long ago and a diabolical plot that now threatens to destroy a beautiful young girl's happiness. Here is suspenseful storytelling at its peak of spellbinding power. Here is Agatha Christie at her enthralling, inimitable best.
Poirot stood on the cliff-top. Here, a tragic accident had been followed by the grisly discovery of two more bodies - a husband and wife - shot dead. Was it a suicide pact? A crime of passion? Or cold-blooded murder? Poirot delves back into the past and discovers that "old sins leave long shadows".
