Sinuhe the egyptian is the historical novel written by the Finnish writer Mika Waltari, which appeared in the WSOY publishing a few years ago, and which became quickly an international success. The novel is considered to be waltari's magnum opus. Sinuhe egyptian has been translated into 40 languages. In 2008, Sinuhe the egyptian was voted Finnish dear most in a book[1].
