Although item 10., which requires an extra oboe, was included in the set by the copyist, it seems unrelated to the other items both stylistically and in instrumentation. It is a matter of regret that the copyist failed to include the attribution for this accomplished set; In the editor's opinion, items 1.-9. look very similar to the style of James Paisible.
