After traveling to the continent and meeting many leaders, he returned to the U.S. to found the Organization of Afro American Unity whose primary mission was to unify Blacks across the globe toward unified action and development. Using research from my new book FUTURENOMIC$, we examine just why shifting our focus toward developing Africa has so many great advantages over the strict focus on African American struggles.
