Excel Inventory Management System
The Excel Inventory Management System is the easy-to-use plugin for Microsoft Excel (2013 or 2016 - Windows 7 or Windows 10) that allows you to connect a USB Barcode Scanner Gun to your Laptop, PC or Surface Pro and scan barcodes to add/remove from stock, update inventory counts, conduct point of sale and manage the traceability of warehouse items as they move through your workflow and reconciliation process!
Item PLDZ-75 is for the Enterprise version of the software that contains license keys for up to 5 PCs/users.
1) Download the zipped folder to your desktop.
2) Unzip / extract it fully.
3) Double click on the supplied excel file to begin!
Step 1: When the Excel Workbook is opened, a pop-up menu is displayed, allowing you to Scan Items In, Scan Items Out or View Inventory Totals.
Step 2: When Scanning Items In, the Excel Software can optionally search the internet for the product description, you can also assign a path to a product image jpeg at any time!
Step 3: As item barcodes are scanned in, the Excel Interface automatically shows the bacode numbers, product name, the cost, its associated image (and other product details) as well as the total number of items and the total cost.
Step 4: In this example, we see that 3 DVDs were scanned in for a total value of 56.97
Step 5: At any time, you can view the total stock counts in the warehouse. In this example, we see that there are 2 DVDs of "Bad Boys 2" in the warehouse.
Step 6: At any time, you can generate an Excel view of the database screen by clicking on the [Export] icon.
