In Legato Workout part 2, I'll take you through a series of demanding legato sequences designed to push your playing to the next level and beyond.
In this second series, you'll be applying Legato and 'Hammers from nowhere' to each sequence, as well as my trademark 'MUTED LEGATO' technique. We will begin with warm ups and progress in difficulty through to advanced legato and muted legato lines. The patterns and lines have specifically been written to focus on various problematic areas that most guitar players encounter, whilst, at the same time, retaining a tasteful and melodic approach to phrasing. Each sequence is explained in detail with clear and concise explanations of the techniques involved for both the left and right hands.
