GDP, Purchasing Power, Supply and Demand Economics / A Bumper Crop of Young Entrepreneurs Across Africa - First hour we provide a basic lesson on the big difference between consumer spending ($1.1 trillion?) and gross domestic product. We look at both the demand side as well as the supply side to come to understand what makes for a sound basis of national economy. The good news is that several African countries are near the top of the heap for the foreseeable future. The bad news is that we are NOT in the best areas to live.
