In this November 12, 2015 edition of the Whitehall Ledger, the November 3rd murder of 37-year-old Whitehall resident Joe Powers by 48-year-old Tony Dwade Sawyer of Lubbock Texas, officers responded to the call on Fish Creek Road just outside of the town of Whitehall and discovered the snowy crime scene where Powers was deceased due to a gunshot wound, and that two other male victims (age 23 and 38) had also been shot.

Mayor Dale Davis discussed what the current stance is on the water issue at Monday night's Town Council meeting, the council also discussed the garbage rate increase.
