In this November 4, 2015 edition of the Whitehall Ledger the unofficial results are in for the City Town Council Election! Find out if the candidates you voted for were elected. In other news, Town Council opened the topic on Monday night’s meeting to discuss a new ordinance that would raise rates for residential, commercial and beginning to charge for garbage pickup and the larger items residents have picked up by city sanitation workers. Find out what the proposed rate increases would be, when it would take effect and what the city's plans are for the money made from the increase. Whitehall Students listened to a presentation by Josh McKay during red ribbon week. McKay, a resident at the brain injury facility in Whitehall, told his story to students on how drugs and alcohol ended with him being in a life changing accident to help the adolescents understand the dangers of drugs and alcohol. A loud crunch could be heard across the State of Montana last Monday when students took part in the MT Crunch Time event. Whitehall counselors then gave students an introduction of the MT Crunch Time Program, healthy life styles and substance prevention.
