Also, the Jefferson Valley Museum was recently donated the diaries of Edward Deschamps, who moved to Whitehall in the early 1930s. His notes of day-to-day life have brief bursts of information about our community and the world that jump out and grab one’s attention included in this edition are a few of his comments from 75 years ago. In other news, due to the lack of turnout, the Whitehall School Board of Trustees made the decision Tuesday night to suspend a school program.
