County Recreation Park south of Boulder that will start Thursday, August 27 and conclude Sunday, August 30. The 32nd annual Jefferson County Fair has been dubbed “A Fair of the Heart”. We also feature information on Montana's Shakespeare in the Park program that's returning to Whitehall. “The Taming of the Shrew” is scheduled for September 2 at 6 p.m. Fall sports are here and it’s often said that champions are made in the offseason.This could pay dividends forthe Whitehall High School Cross Country team. The expectations are the same each year for head coach Dan Lacey and his Whitehall High School football team. “We want to give ourselves a chance to make the playoffs,” Lacey said. With a game scheduled Friday night on the road at 7 p.m. against Sweet Grass County, Lacey said practices have been going great. It’s so far so good for the Whitehall High School varsity volleyball team. “The first few weeks of practice have gone great,” head coach Kristen Wirth said. The Lady Trojans started the practice season earlier this month with a total of 23 girls, which Wirth said is the most they’ve had in a long time. How far will $51,000 go for an Ambulance
