Smart-Doc MS Word Addin

Simple but tremendously effective, Smart-Doc empowers any user with the ability to design automated MS Word documents and templates by way of free text design or document cloning.

 

It is extremely simple to use and allows anyone to create dynamic document templates by marking up the variable locations of a document. The basic functionality allows text to be highlighted and marked as a variable in one click. Once marked as a document variable, it will appear in the Smart-Doc interface as a variable ready to be swapped out with replacement text.

 

The advanced functionality accepts built-in mark-up code using braces {} and properties to create options or listbox selections. (For example,  Select Your Favorite Food {Eggs}{Bacon}{Toast}, will create a sentence in the word document and then display a drop down listbox with the three food choices "Eggs" "Bacon" and "Toast".) This is an invaluable tool for organizations that use standard templates to govern their authoring process.
