“Possession seems to be a gradual process in which the person repeatedly sells out for one  reason or another. The primary reason both these patients sold out seemed to be loneliness in the form of slack, slothful, sluggard. Most people live in fear. They have believed the lies of the system or live and they are living on time instead of living on purpose! 

 

Once a person sells out to these thoughts, horrendous acts of  irrational evil become possible.  When the lies becomes one’s reality, they are given power to destroy life.

 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your  father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has  nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own  nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)
