If you want a gym ball to the face, just hassle my little brother, Tippet. True, he's a bit of a wimp, but his big sister is the sixth grade dodgeball champion for seven days in a row—like, every recess. Yeah, that's me, Piper.

I only mention that because of this awesomely horrible thing that happened. See, Tippet and I found a way into this weird fantasy world (that's the awesomely part), and we would've had a great time there, except—ugh, it makes me sick thinking about it—these freaky guys with knives came and took my brother! That's the horrible part. I mean, I can do bullies and all, but this was nuts. Apparently they're taking him to some distant land with magic treasures or something.

Then I find this ghost kid, a bunch of animals that are only shadows, and oh, let's not forget about the humungous guy with a speech problem. If that's not weird enough, he was even green.

Did I mention that if I don't get to my little brother in time, they're going to feed him to a beast the size of a castle?

Yeah. This is NOT going to be easy.
