KHCD-2012-041DL (STEREO) - Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherezade - USSR Symphony Orchestra/Yevgeny Svetlanov - Exciting, lavish interpretation with wide-range sonics make this a must-have recording, set down by Melodiya in the late 60s. A near-mint LP was used to create this most enjoyable CD. All fans of the USSR Symphony with Svetlanov will remember this issue, part of the very popular Melodiya/Angel series; this was one of the greats in the series.
