Transient Voyager (Lyric Poetry)

“What is Transient Voyager about? The journey is a reflection of my soul. A quest to understand love, life, and our spiritual and physical purpose and reason for being.

At times youthful and hopeful the poems take on a spiritual garment as my soul struggles and yearns for an ‘escape’ and yet is bound by responsibility to the physical world.

Ever since I came into this world the spiritual realms were easier for me to navigate than the thick puddles of this so-called ‘real world’ But as I grow, with years I see the intricate beauty of learning to balance.

Perhaps our purpose and reason for being is to become acrobats that balance between the physical and the spiritual – elevating one and attracting the other – until we merge the two opposing forces into a harmonious dance.

It is my hope that this modest collection of youthful poems – originated in the experiences of my teenage years, will be just another illustration, perhaps an inspiration, for those who like me are living on the battle edge between the physical and the spiritual.

At the end of the day each one of us is a Transient Voyager. A soul that comes from a greater place, is all-knowing, and eventually will move on to explore unforeseen heights.”

Inga’s order of poems in this book – finding love, then losing that love, then mourning the loss, then moving on – is an inspiration and the strength to move on. This book is, in a way, her giving her diary, so that her readers may find the power to move on and to see the movement of time forward, like a wave traveling the entire course of an ocean.
