As a first time stair builder this little spreadsheet made it so easy to build the stringers. Like the step by step manual on how to mark the stringers, I am going to build a lot more stairs. |

What a neat program. We were having trouble knowing where to make the first cut on our stringers (non deck building people). The only thing I could not figure out was how to make the 1st step level, I think it stated that was not an option with the program but other than that this program gave me the angle, length of wood etc... so it was great. We now have a new set of deck stairs; 14 new steps on 3 solid stringers and we know they are not to steep nor to short.

It takes a little getting used to, but this is one of the best tools i have! It pays to read all the instructions - don't think you can just "figure it out" as that defeats the purpose. Read it all and then just enjoy. THANKS FOR A KILLER PRODUCT! |
