William and Michelle''s life together is continued in London. There, they raise a small family and aid their friends and family in finding the happiness they now enjoy. Though content, Michelle strives to prove William''s rather stuffy relatives that she is no common upstart. In turn, William finds greater challenges in his work away from New York, not only mentally but in adding hard-won calluses to his hands. Their love inspires odd emotions in those around them, and even the great Oscar Maclane is not exempt.
Life is what you make it... when given black soil, grow roses.
