This download contains the male vocal samples from the 3D Pre CD Volume 2 which has been out of print for nearly four years now. These files feature recordings of male voice through a host of preamps. It enables the listener to hear the influence of the preamp on the sound when using the same source and microphone. Included are 35 male vocal recordings in mono, using a Jim Williams modified AKG C-414B-ULS microphone through 30 different preamps as well as 7 recordings through a Manley Reference mic. This download includes pictures from the 3D Preamp Listening Party, a complete list of the preamps, with URLs and pricing, a description of the testing procedure and a key to identify the preamps.
