Composer: William Corbett (1675 - 1748)
London, 1705. "Six sonatas for two flutes and a bass consisting of Preludes Allemands Corants Sarabands and Jiggs. . . Note [this sonata] may be played with two flutes without the bass or transposed 3 notes lower for the violin." The transposition to E major should be made by the purchaser. This sonata also falls within the range of the treble recorder.
