The London Harness Horse Parade
This is a PAL DVD and will not play in the United States or Canada.
Join television presenter Howie Watkins on a day of discovery as he finds out everything you need to know about the fantastic display of over 250 horses and carts at Battersea Park in London. This is the thirty-sixth event under the title of the ''London Harness Horse Parade'', brought about by the amalgamation of the London Cart Horse Parade Society and the London Van Horse Parade Society. In 1995 the amalgamation parade moved back to Battersea Park, the original birthplace of the London Cart Horse Parade over a century earlier. The parade is not a competition between entries. A standard is set by the judges and each exhibit reaching this standard receives a First Class Award. As long as the horse is properly groomed and well looked after, continuous attention has been given to its harness, with the vehicle clean, the driver neat and tidy, each turnout has an equal chance.
