Along the western shores of the lake, hot water geysers shoot up into the air. They indicate the subterranean energy of this volcanic region. The flamingos inhabit the opposite shores due to the high temperatures and sulphurous gases.
At Lake Bogoria, both nature’s origins and the development of the landscape of the Great Rift Valley reveal themselves in all their original might and splendor.
