Culinary Travels California Gold
We’ve had them as a kid, and probably feed them to our kids now, but have you ever seen what goes into producing a raisin? You will now. From the fields to the table, we’ll take you inside one of California’s most famous agricultural products. They start as grapes on the vines, then end up drying in the field, before being processed and sent around the world. In the home kitchen of a raisin growers’ wife, we’ll make fritters and cinnamon raisin rolls. Then, at Echo, one of the best restaurants in Central California, it’s quail with a raisin stuffing. We’ll even have an appearance from one of the famous Dancing Raisins. What can be better than that!
