Early morning of a hot summer day, the cool night air has given way to a foggy dawn. Cool and refreshing water splashes over rock ledges, beside mossy banks, and around stepping stones in the shallows. The sound is a continuous restful light ambience of refreshing running water. Ideal for relaxation, masking background sounds, this is pure joyous water sounds with nothing else.
I have recorded a number of creeks and streams, but this one exuded a special essence in its home of tall shady cedars, straight firs, and craggy pines carpeted with mossy rocks and soft forest floors. The especially peaceful location helped to create a recording that has a crisp pristine presence with a natural clarity. Free of animal sounds, this is simply pure running water sounds.
Summer Creek Sounds © features a long 10 second fade-in at the beginning and a slow fade-out at the end so there are no sudden disturbing interruptions when played looped.
