The wealth and variety of psychological theories — patchwork or coherence?
The ambiguity of psychology
One may turn to the science of psychology in search of an answer to a
specific question, or to learn something more about life in general and what
it is to be human. But one is likely to become confused by the rich variety of

seldom gets an unambiguous answer to one's question — and on the
contrary risks becoming even more confused than one was to start with.
