The NOC Desk is a free standing desk design that we HIGHLY recommend for multiple monitor setups or multi-system setups. The design is built for a standard 3 to 5 monitor setup but can, with a small amount of alteration, be used for more with monitor arms.
We recommend using the wall arms on the cabinets, if you use the arms, because the cabinets will support more weight and the they can be easily bolted to the sides if the cabinets as opposed to trying to bolt them to a door.

No, free standing.
The unit uses various items put together and arranged to create a very efficient and spacious working space with a fair amount of storage and shelf space.
The design itself is useful for multi-monitor or multi-system setups. It is also good if you have a water cooled or mineral oil submerged system and you want it contained for any possible leaking issues. The unit can simply be placed in one of the side cabinets and cabling run through the back.
If you use 3 or more monitors we highly recommend this blueprint.
Some places noted that would be good to use this desk:
The main purpose of this design is to optimize the space available as much as possible but still allow expanding capabilities should you move the unit to a larger space.

Some optional suggestions for this build:

- Taller cabinets on the sides or larger shelving units instead
- Various types of shelves can be attached or set on rollers under the desk
- Wheels for the entire setup should you be mobile.
