Pockets of Time for The Bad Beginning: A Series of Unfortunate Events
As your child reads the first book in this series, be sure to use the flashcards to evaluate the comprehension of your child. If your child is reading alone or you are reading aloud, remembering the sequence of events is one of the best ways to help stretch your child’s memory. These flashcard sets can be used independently of our unit study. If this is your first time reading or using these books, you may want to use the curriculum for the guidance through some sticky ethical and moral lessons as well as other school subjects. . Pockets of Time are sets of 4-8 flashcards per chapter that the child color codes, cuts out then places into a pocket. All you have to do is check the correction sheet given at the back of the book to see if the colors are in order.
Note: Fortunately For You Unit study is curriculum for 3 books. This is the timeline of events for Book 1. See web site for samples.
