Benin City ("Outkast meets James Brown") are one of the UK s outstanding new bands, whose sound has already been hailed by various leading radio stations and television programmes. "Work", the lead single from their "Invisible Cake" EP, was named Xfm X-posure s Single of the Week in February 2010, and was played by Sky TV s SoccerAm as part of their highlight package; the launch of their EP was filmed by Reuters for their Africa Daily programme. They have supported, among others, dan le sac vs Scroobius Pip, Kid British, Lack of Afro, Razorlight and Supergrass.
