In this 10-minute video Dave shows you the methods he uses to paint both urethane foam and plaster rocks on your model railroad. By using only an inexpensive China Bristle brush and four basic colors you can duplicate most of the rock colors found in nature. Dave shows his technique of underpainting with scenery black and then overpainting to get the desired rock color. His finishes painting the rocks and demonstrates dry brushing.
