Use Case Template
A Use Case diagram presents a graphical overview of the functionality provided by a system in terms of actors, goals, and dependencies between use cases. Use case diagrams show what system functions are performed for which actors and the set of interactions between actors and the system under consideration.
Use this template to:
- Provide an easy-to-understand narrative that helps system designers and users to follow and validate the use cases.
- Describe the actions performed from a user's perspective.
- Identify all interactions between a system and its environment.
- Illustrate the sequence of events that occur when a user participates in a dialog with a system.
Allow system designers to understand a system's behaviour as it responds to requests that originates from outside of that system.
Use Cases describe functional requirements by using symbols and text to show how users will use the system. Use cases establish the boundary of the system and the functional capabilities to be delivered to users.
