The Case For Cash
Hidden Secrets Your 401k Provider Doesn't Want You To Know
What if all the rules you thought you knew about 401k investing were about to change?  Right now, ask almost any investment professional and you'll find the talk is all one sided on how this market and their 401k investment will continue to go up.  I find so few voices that speak to any other possibility to the point of being unhealthy.  The goal in writing this book is to provide the alternative voice for the opposing view.  What if the market didn’t continue to go up, but moved sideways or went down instead.  Do you want to employ the same strategies you do today.  Every investment prospectus you read will state the risks of investing, but in practical talk you hear none of this.  The market has been going through a period of unprecedented growth.  Since the birth of the 401k the only complete cycle the market has known is one of growth.  This has led I believe to a dangerous and false impression of the risks facing investors.  Most 401k investors that I know may watch their funds regularly, but since they continue to go up, they have no real thoughts of doing anything different.  The ideal outcome after reading this book is just to examine your 401k investing goals in light of this new information and come to your own informed decision.  We do not give specific investing advice for any one individual, however we teach you through a study of history how the markets work and strategies that hypothetically work best for each market condition.  Then you are better prepared to make your own informed decision.
You will not hear this information from your 401k provider.  Since we’ve experienced a period of unprecedented growth from the birth of the 401k industry, the industry has developed what I call the 3 pillars of investing advice.  It is what the investment professionals are taught in their training classes and are expected to preach to the masses.  The first pillar is the market will always go up, the second is diversification is the key to managing risk, and finally you cannot time the market.  You will not find them deviating from these views, but it can have some catastrophic results for the individual investor in the near term.  Unfortunately, you will not know this until it is too late and your 401k account looks like it did in the summer of 2002.  You must fully understand what 401k providers mean when they make these statements for I believe it is far different that most people think.  The true meaning is kept secret unless you know the facts and think through the implications for your own unique situation.  Fortunately, we are at a specific time in history where we have the opportunity to make a decision.  It is unknown how long this opportunity will present itself and once it passes it may be years before we have this opportunity again.  The time is now to arm yourself with the knowledge to successfully navigate the current market environment.  Get our eBook today, you will be thankful that you did.
