 Meditation
“ unlocking the secrets of the human mind “
In The Beginning , The Whirlwind
I will not allow myself to call this a “ how to “ doctrine on meditation, although that’s what it is. It would be better to think of it as a “ how to tame the human mind “ doctrine. I have been meditating for over forty-six years and have been asked over and over again how to meditate. So many people just give up because they cannot seem to be able to stop their thoughts from bombarding their minds like bombs coming from the deepest corridors of their brain. Our brain, our mind, is our first enemy to learn to control. We are our own worst enemy. Every worry, every guilt, every bad thing ( we think ) we’ve ever done, every un-paid bill, all of all that’s in your mind will surface at the very moment you try to get comfortable, sit still, and shut down your oh so human brain. I think of it like a washer machine, the kind with the big round window in the front. It’s fun to watch it whirling and twirling round and round and making that wishy washy sound, then suddenly it stops for a moment. Peace, Silence, Tranquillity. Ahhhhh! Then boom ! It starts moving in the other direction. Again whirling and twirling. Finally, in time the machine stops. Through the glass we can see the clothes dropping to the bottom of the washer, the clothes are clean. Open it and the fresh fragrance of cleanliness fills the air and the room and our body like a bright sun shiny day ! And this my dear friends is the beginning of your journey through the deepest corridors of your mind to finally arrive at the center of the universe, the point of mindless bliss, no thought, no worries. The place where our creator dwells.
