Technology-Based or Natural Longevity, Which Pathway Forward?
Technology-Based or Natural Longevity, Which Pathway Forward? - This is a wonderfully detailed research study on the best way that we can plan on living long and healthy lives. We begin by discussing the seeming breakthrough in lowering the rate of heart disease as primary cause of death, yet this is counterbalanced by the high rate of cancer deaths and the new plague of dementia diseases among the elderly. Next we look closely at how many of the new tech billionaires are getting into the lucrative new field of longevity science and technology research, a field expected to grow to $354.8 billion by 2018. We really have to consider if these major tech giants are even on the right track as they pursue drugs, genetic engineering, stem cells and other potentially expensive therapies. I point out that a handful of African natural practitioners have already solved this problem and only lack the funding support that these tech pioneers have created for themselves. (LIBMP3-3677)
