The Bible lll
The Bible is a compilation of 66 books written by many authors in different languages over a period of at least 1,500 years – from the time of Moses in Egypt to the time of the Apostles in the first century after Christ. Christians believe these books are inspired by the Spirit of God, and they have been prepared to live their lives according to these books and die for the truth these books revealed. Who were the authors? Who decided what books were inspired and which were not? How do we know which translations and presentations are faithful and valid? These and many other questions are addressed in this series of programs.
The third volume, or Book 3, picks up from Book 2 and introduces the life and times of Jesus of Nazareth. The explosive situation that existed toward the end of the 70 Weeks Nation is explored along with what the Jewish people were expecting at that time – Elijah, the Prophet of Moses and the Messiah. The ministry of John the Baptist and the meaning of water baptism are examined along with the significance of other water events in the history of the Holy People.
Originally prepared for radio presentation, the format and length of the tracks makes this ideal for re-presentation to Bible Study groups. It also makes an excellent addition to any individual theological library.
