The Town of Whitehall has responded to statements made by former Ambulance Director Francine Janik in last week’s edition of the Whitehall Ledger. Town of Whitehall Attorney Ed Guza said Tuesday afternoon there was never a resolution passed regarding the issue, and Janik had to make a decision on resigning as either Service Director or Council position because of a conflict of interest.
